The company achieved an AA rating the highest rating possible
Winsford, England – CMC DayMark Limited is pleased to announce its recent certification from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) for storage and distribution. This prestigious achievement speaks to the quality of work that the CMC DayMark Limited team has exemplified for more than a decade.
In certifying, the company achieved an AA rating—the highest rating possible – indicating that a minimum number of non-conformities were found during the audit. The infrequency with which this rating is given makes it a highly distinguished honor.
Created in 1992, the BRC is a trade association in the UK food retail industry. The consortium has published standards for best practices in the food and manufacturing industries for two decades, as well as the On-Pack Recycling Label standards for the UK.
In recognising the achievement of the team at CMC DayMark Limited, Greg Fitchett, General Manager, has stated that “we apply all steps of the BRC process after investing over £20,000 in enhancements to our operation and systems in Winsford, whilst ensuring our supply chain—both downstream and upstream—carry through the BRC processes.”
CMC DayMark Limited consistently delivers quality products and services whilst observing best practices towards their supply chain. The BRC certification serves as reassurance that incoming goods present no risk for accidental or intentional contamination.
“Our investment involves enhanced hygiene facilities, delivery vehicle and product inspection equipment and processes, documentary process and enhanced site security thus ensuring all our products are safe for the food service industry,” Fitchett adds.
